The Artists
Queentet is an all-female brass quintet with members from Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Founded in 2024, Queentet has performed widely across London and the UK, with recital venues including the David Josefowitz Recital Hall, Angela Burgess Recital Hall, and Duke’s Hall at the Royal Academy of Music, as well as in Regent Hall, Oxford Street, the Hospital of St Cross, Winchester, and Southwark Cathedral.
Queentet were awarded second place in the RAM Musicians’ Company Brass Ensemble Prize in 2025 and 2026, as well as a commendation in the 2025 RAM Historical Women Composers Prize.
Queentet met as students at the Royal Academy of Music, where they have received coaching from acclaimed brass players, including Steph Dyer and Matt Gee.
Alongside chamber music, Queentet members’ recent & upcoming engagements include work with ensembles such as the Philharmonia Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, and the Royal Swedish Orchestra, and performances in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Sinfonia Smith Square, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Cadogan Hall & Vortex Jazz Club.
